While in the past it was important to be professional and rather bland to conform to the other businesses out there, the past couple of decades have opened the doors up for new business models. Sugar Boutique is a boutique located in Greenwood, South Carolina featuring the yummiest celebrity fashions. Two years ago, Sandi Hall McClain (boutique owner) contacted me to design a basic informational website for her boutique. Now, she wanted to give the website a new look and take one step further and turn it into an e-commerce website. Now, not only her local customers will be able to make purchases online and either have them shipped to them or pick them up in-store, but also anybody in the United States can purchase from Sugar Boutique!
